Abbott's Diabetes Care business designs, develops and manufactures leading-edge glucose monitoring systems and test strips for use in both home and hospital settings. We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Shift Manager to join our Complaint Investigation Team based in Witney, Oxfordshire. This role follows a 4 on, 4 off rotation, working 10:00am to 10:00pm, and forms part of the leadership structure supporting our 24/7 Complaint Investigation operation.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and develop Team Leads, creating a high-performing, accountable and engaged team culture.
- Oversee shift operations, ensuring delivery against quality, compliance, productivity and business targets.
- Provide leadership and act as the main escalation point for complex operational, technical and people issues.
- Use performance data to drive continuous improvement and improve efficiency.
- Build strong stakeholder relationships and ensure regulatory, quality and audit requirements are met.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience with a passion for developing people and building high-performing teams.
- Experience working within a regulated environment such as medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, food manufacturing, automotive, or a similar industry.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience using performance metrics and data to drive operational improvements and informed decision making.
- Knowledge of quality systems, compliance requirements and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
