We’re looking for a Commercial Excellence Analyst to join Abbott's Nutrition Division (ANI) based in Maidenhead. This is a highly visible role where you’ll act as the primary data and insights partner for the ANI business, helping teams turn complex commercial data into clear, actionable insights.
You’ll play a key role in owning and publishing dashboards, supporting Salesforce Excellence (SFE) and CRM analytics, and helping drive our transition to Power BI as the organisation’s primary business intelligence tool. If you enjoy working with large datasets, spotting trends, and enabling stakeholders to get the most out of data, this role offers real opportunity to make an impact.
Key responsibilities:
- Act as the primary support for ANI dashboards, delivering data-driven insights to inform business strategy and performance
- Develop, publish, and maintain Power BI dashboards, with short‑term support of QlikView during transition
- Own data quality and governance processes, including data validation, cleansing, transformation, and documentation
- Work with internal and external data sources including IQVIA, SFE data, and Salesforce CRM to support sales effectiveness analysis
- Manage dashboard refreshes, resolve data or reporting issues, and implement enhancements requested by stakeholders
- Support onboarding and training of users, ensuring correct access, licensing, and effective use of BI tools
- Maintain master data reference files, working cross‑functionally to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Deliver exploratory and ad‑hoc analysis to support commercial improvement initiatives
- Respond to data queries, providing clear insights or escalating where appropriate
What you’ll bring:
- Essential:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a numerate discipline (e.g. Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Marketing Insights)
- Experience in a similar analytics or commercial insights role
- Strong Power BI experience (essential), with QlikView experience highly desirable
- Proven experience working with large datasets and applying data management best practices
- High attention to detail with a strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset
- Confident communicator, able to turn data into a clear, compelling story
- Experience working with healthcare or pharmaceutical sales data
- Understanding of key commercial metrics such as revenue growth and market share
- Strong Excel/spreadsheet capability and exposure to statistical or data visualisation tools
