The Opportunity
This position works out of our Maidenhead location within our Core Lab division. As a Contracts Specialist you will be the key point of contact for the UK/Ireland Contracts Administration Supervisor, and managing relationships with various stakeholders. You will handle the communication of contract terms with the NHS and third-party companies, ensuring all contracts comply with ADD policies and company procedures.
What You’ll Do
- Report to the UK/Ireland Contracts Administration Supervisor
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Communicate contract terms with NHS and 3rd party companies
- Ensure compliance with ADD contracts policies
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Mentor and develop Contract Specialists
- Administer UK ADD Contracts
- Coordinate key contract implementations
- Oversee 3rd party supplier awards
- Maintain business relationships with strategic partners
- Manage regional Contracts Department commercial relationships
- Provide contract support to Region Specialists
- Handle major accounts
- Ensure quality and policy control
- Meet objectives and deadlines
Education Requirements
- Applicant must hold a relevant degree (2:2 or higher) essential;
- Minimum of 24-months in contract work essential;
- Knowledge of tendering and mini-competitions desirable;
- Experience of working in multi-disciplinary teams desirable;
- CIPS Level 4 or demonstrable equivalent work-related experience desirable;
- Broad understanding of the diagnostic industry and/or NHS desirable.

- Strong commercial acumen and pragmatism;
- Excellent interpersonal skills;
- Proven track record in building and maintaining relationships;
- Highly PC literate;
- Proficient at analysing data, and working with large data sets;
