Abbott Community Primary School is an Outstanding School (April 2024) in the hub of the local community. The Governing Board wish to appoint a dedicated and hardworking Teaching Assistant for our Reception Class, to start on Tuesday 1st September 2026. The successful candidate will be a strong team player, who is passionate and motivated about children’s learning and will be committed to the positive ethos of the school.
Responsibilities
- Evidence of good/outstanding practice in a school-based Nursery and/or Reception class.
- Have knowledge and experience working with the EYFS Framework.
- Experience of delivering phonics.
- A compassionate and caring approach to working with children, parents and colleagues.
- The ability to work as part of a team.
- A commitment to nurturing success in every child.
- The ability to use your initiative to improve the quality of provision further.
- Excellent time management, organisation and ICT skills to support your role and effectiveness.
