At Abbots Care, we have been supporting families since 1995. What began as a small, family-run business has grown into an award-winning, CQC Outstanding rated provider three times in a row, but we have never lost the belief that care should feel personal.

This role is about being the first calm, confident voice a family hears, but it is also about recognising opportunities to help more people and growing the support we provide across Hertfordshire.

We are looking for someone who understands that ethical growth in care is about listening properly, responding quickly, and ensuring no family goes unsupported when we could help.

The Purpose of the Role

Your focus will be to increase weekly delivered care hours by:

  • Converting referrals into active packages of care
  • Reducing the time it takes to safely implement new support
  • Building strong relationships with social workers, health professionals and private clients
  • Working closely with coordination and recruitment to maximise capacity

The more care we deliver, the more families we can support and your performance will directly influence that growth. With uncapped commission, your earning potential reflects the impact you make.

What You’ll Receive
  • £25,000–£29,000 basic salary
  • Uncapped commission structure
  • On average £5,000–£15,000 additional earnings per year (with no cap)
  • Progression opportunities within a growing organisation
  • Supportive leadership and open door culture
  • A positive office environment (including the office dog and occasional puppies)
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Managing and responding promptly to all incoming referrals
  • Tracking enquiries and improving conversion rates
  • Designing person-centred care packages
  • Confidently discussing options with private clients
  • Building ongoing relationships with commissioners and healthcare professionals
  • Making proactive outbound calls to follow up enquiries
  • Working alongside marketing and recruitment to support sustainable growth

This is a fast-paced, target-driven role in a competitive market, ideal for someone who enjoys performance, momentum and seeing measurable results.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re seeking someone who is:

  • A natural communicator with a warm but confident telephone manner
  • Commercially aware and comfortable discussing services and value
  • Target-driven and motivated by results
  • Organised and able to manage competing priorities
  • Passionate about high-quality, person-centred care
  • A driver with access to their own vehicle
  • Care coordination or care sector experience is beneficial, but mindset is most important, someone who can balance compassion with confidence and have the ability to sell Abbots Care as the number one provider.
On-Call

This role includes participation in the on-call rota (weekdays, weekends and bank holidays on rotation, including alternate weekends). We understand flexibility is important, so this can be discussed.

Why Join Us?

We are proud to be the lead provider to Hertfordshire County Council and to have built our reputation on trust, quality and results. If you’re motivated by both purpose and performance, and you want your earnings to reflect your impact, we would love to speak with you.
