Overview At Abbots Care we pride ourselves on changing people’s lives for the better. We are looking for a dedicated Care Assistant to support vulnerable people in Watford and surrounding areas.
Responsibilities Help people to leave hospital as soon as practicably possible and to safely transition back to living at home as independently as possible.
Visit Service Users in their own homes to provide appropriate care and support as defined in the Care Plan.
Provide personal care, administer medication, monitor vital signs, exercise and domestic tasks if needed.
Liaise with medical professionals such as district nurses and pharmacies.
Salary and Hours Pay rates of £13.43 per hour on weekdays and £15.50 per hour on weekends. Working hours between 7am‑10pm with shift patterns of 7am‑2pm and 4pm‑10pm, including alternate weekends. Flexible contracts up to 40 hours a week.
Benefits Paid mileage at 40p per mile.
