Job Overview
We are seeking kind and compassionate individuals to join our ever‑expanding team. We have been providing support and care within the community since 1995 to various different service user types including children and the elderly. The role of a care assistant is extremely rewarding and fulfilling, with many opportunities to develop within your career at Abbots including paid diplomas and job progression.
We are currently recruiting for community care assistants to join our teams providing care in people’s own homes in the Watford and surrounding areas. Previous experience in the care industry is not necessary as paid comprehensive training is provided by our in‑house training department.
Our pay rates are £13.00 per hour on weekdays and £15.00 per hour on weekends, with working hours between 7am‑10pm. Shift patterns are 7am‑2pm and 4pm‑10pm, including alternate weekends. As well as zero hour contracts we also offer part‑time and full contracts up to 40 hours per week with a high salary of £26,665.60 per annum (£12.82 per hour).
Key Responsibilities
- Providing support and care for our service users within their own homes
- Supporting and assisting with personal care
- Preparing meals and associated domestic tasks
