Abbots Care are seeking kind and compassionate members of our local community to join our expanding team in Dorset and surrounding areas. Abbots Care Dorset are a small family-run sister branch of one of the leading care providers in the UK. We pride ourselves on offering a unique and person-centred service tailored precisely to each of our service user's needs.
Our community-based support care workers provide care to our service users within their own homes to help them remain as independent as possible. The role of a care assistant is extremely rewarding and fulfilling, with many opportunities to develop within your career at Abbots Care Dorset including paid Diplomas and career progression. Experience isn’t always necessary as we have a comprehensive training and induction course and shadow with you until you are ready.
The Role of a community care assistant includes:
- Providing personal care including administering of medication
- Supporting our service users with social activities

We also offer flexibility within our roles to cater to each employee's needs, whether that be to work around family time or other commitments. Employees have the option of contracts up to 40hrs with salaries of £26,665.60 per annum depending on their availability.
If you are interested in joining our small friendly team but have no experience in the homecare industry, your application is still valued as we offer fully paid in-house training to all. Due to the nature of the role and being community based in and around Dorset you will need to have a full driving license and access to your own vehicle, as well the right to work in the UK.
