Abbeyview Surgery is a GP Surgery in rural Lincolnshire serving circa 9300 patients. We have a diverse, friendly team that work hard to provide the best quality care to our Practice population.
Main duties of the job:
- Providing support for the Business Manager and Practice Manager and deputising in their absence.
- Administrative support and oversight with the overall running of the Practice, initially under guidance of the Business and Practice Manager.

Abbeyview Surgery has a diverse team which includes Doctors, ANPs, Paramedics, Diabetes Specialists, Clinical Pharmacists and a hard working Reception, Dispensary and Administrative team set in the picturesque town of Crowland.
Job responsibilities:
This is a new position within the management team and we envisage it will develop according to the successful applicant's strengths and the needs of the Practice. Duties will include:
- Supporting the Practice Manager in day to day leadership and running of the Practice, which may include managing staff, training, recruitment and oversight; contributing to development of the computer system; ensuring Practice compliance with Health and Safety, Fire, Information Governance and other statutory policies.
- Supporting the Business Manager in maintaining compliance with NHS, PCN and local Contracts.

Person Specification:
Previous experience of working in a medical environment is preferred, but not essential. We are looking for someone who is keen to develop their managerial skills and work within the management team. It would also be helpful to be flexible with working hours from time to time.
