Work a two week rolling rota - 3 shifts week one and 4 shifts week two. The shift will commence at 8 pm and finish at 8:15 am.
General Scope of Post
To assist principally in the management and continuity of care of the residents. To attend to the physical, emotional and social needs of the residents, working on a rota basis laid down and under the direction of the Registered Manager.
Principal Duties
- Organise and support care assistants, domestic and kitchen teams throughout a shift of work to provide safe and effective resident care.
- Delegate tasks to people with the skills and abilities to perform them.
- Assist in the formal supervision of other carers.
- Administration of medications.
- Update care plans as and when changes occur, but at least monthly.
- Respect the individual rights and choices of residents.
- Respond to the differing cultural values and diversity of residents.
- Understand responsibilities in relation to health.
