Summary

We are seeking a talented Chef to join our team at Abbey Healthcare. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing nutritious and delicious meals that cater to the dietary needs of our residents, enhancing their overall dining experience in a warm and welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook high-quality meals that meet the dietary requirements of residents.
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are maintained in the kitchen at all times.
  • Plan menus that reflect the preferences and nutritional needs of residents.
  • Manage kitchen staff effectively, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
  • Oversee food production processes to ensure efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain inventory of kitchen supplies and order ingredients as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar culinary role, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating nutritious meals.
  • Ability to manage a team effectively while maintaining a positive work environment.
  • Good communication skills to interact with staff and residents.
