We require Health Care Assistants for Primrose Hill Care Home (we are not offering sponsorship or visa).

Responsibilities include:
- To understand and provide care for residents that meets individual needs.
- To assist the resident in any area of their daily care needs which they would normally undertake themselves if they were able to do so whilst promoting independence wherever possible.
- To participate in activities.
- To care for all residents' needs as required with the aim of optimising their independence.
- To read the Care Plans of each client to promote continuity of care.
- To complete and record documentation as required, including food/fluid intake, changing position, applying topical creams, daily notes, and notes of significant events.
- To understand the right of the individual to confidentiality.
- To understand and be aware of Deprivation of Liberty (DoLs) β England and Adults with capacity β Scotland.
- Care of clothes and personal belongings.
- Bed making β empty and occupied.
- Moving and handling, dressing, and assisting residents in their daily hygiene and dressing needs.
- Personal hygiene β Bathing, care of the eyes, mouth, hair, and nails.
- Care of skin and pressure areas.
- Assist with toilet requirements.
- Escorting residents.
- Helping to serve meals and drinks, assisting and feeding those residents whose needs require it.
- Recording any necessary individual information i.e. turn/tilt charts, fluid balance charts.
- Observing and reporting any changes in residents' condition.
- Be aware, understand individual care plans.
Always observe the Home's Health and Safety policy. To report to Senior staff any hazard or unsafe equipment that may be injurious to the health and safety of staff, residents, and visitors.
To complete e-learning and mandatory training, and other training as required. To answer call bells and give assistance as required.
Full or Part-time hours: 11-44 per week. Day shift 08.00-20.00, shifts variable to suit the needs of the business and will include alternate weekends for full-time hours. Bank holidays also form part of the rostered shift pattern. Candidates will be responsible for supporting the varying physical and mental health needs of clients within the home. Night shift 20.00 to 08.00.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Permanent. Pay: Β£12.29 per hour. Expected hours: 11 β 44 per week. Company pension. Free parking. On-site parking.
