We are working with a growing business that is looking to appoint a capable and organised Logistics Coordinator to support the smooth movement of goods, equipment and stock across the business. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys being at the centre of operations, coordinating deliveries, managing suppliers, keeping internal teams updated and ensuring everything runs accurately and on time. The successful candidate will be highly organised, proactive and comfortable working in a busy environment where priorities can change quickly. This would suit someone with a background in logistics, supply chain, operations coordination, stock control or transport administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating inbound and outbound deliveries, ensuring goods are dispatched and received on time
- Liaising with suppliers, couriers, customers and internal departments to ensure smooth communication
- Tracking orders, shipments and delivery schedules
- Updating internal systems with accurate logistics, stock and delivery information
- Supporting stock control, inventory records and goods-in/goods-out processes
- Resolving delivery queries, delays or discrepancies in a professional and timely manner
- Preparing relevant logistics documentation, including delivery notes, shipment records and supplier paperwork
- Working closely with operations, finance, sales and customer service teams
- Helping to improve processes and ensure the logistics function runs efficiently
- Providing general administrative support across the wider operations function where required
