We're supporting a well-established business in the search for an Inventory Coordinator to join its Supply Chain team.
This is a varied role that will suit someone who enjoys working with data, planning stock requirements and collaborating with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure products are available when needed.
You'll play a key role in balancing customer demand with inventory levels, helping to maintain excellent service while keeping stock investment under control.
Key Responsibilities Monitor inventory levels against forecasts and demand trends.
Plan and maintain appropriate stock levels to support customer requirements.
Raise purchase orders and production orders to replenish inventory.
Work closely with external manufacturing partners and suppliers to ensure materials and finished goods are delivered on time.
Build strong relationships with suppliers, monitoring performance, costs and availability.
Carry out regular inventory reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies.
Ensure product, costing and inventory information within the ERP system remains accurate.
Maintain product master data, including packaging and product information.
Work alongside Sales and Marketing teams to understand upcoming product launches and promotional activity, ensuring these are reflected within inventory plans.
Monitor sales forecasts and identify any potential supply risks.
Support continuous improvement across supply chain planning processes.
About You We're keen to speak with candidates who have experience in inventory planning, supply planning, stock control or a similar supply chain role.
You'll also have: Experience working within a manufacturing, distribution or supply chain environment.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Excellent Excel skills and confidence working with ERP systems.
Experience raising purchase orders and coordinating with suppliers.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across different teams.
High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Experience of ERP systems such as JD Edwards, SAP or Oracle would be advantageous, although not essential.
