We are recruiting for a Data Input Administrator to join a growing specialist business based in Harpenden.
This is a busy, detail-focused position involving the processing of technical information, updating internal and client systems, and producing accurate reports.
It would suit someone who enjoys working with data, is naturally methodical and takes pride in getting the details right.
You do not need experience within a particular sector.
Full training will be provided on the company’s systems and processes.
The most important qualities are accuracy, reliability, strong organisation and the ability to learn new systems.
The role
Your responsibilities will include
- Reviewing incoming data and reports
- Entering information accurately onto internal and client systems
- Updating records with results, reports and expected completion times
- Producing accurate reports using the information provided
- Checking data for errors, inconsistencies or missing information
- Liaising with colleagues to clarify or correct information
- Keeping clients and internal teams updated on progress
- Managing a busy and changing workload
- Providing general administrative support to the wider team
About you
We are looking for someone who
- Has previous administration or data-entry experience
- Demonstrates excellent attention to detail
- Is confident working with data, reports and different IT systems
- Can maintain accuracy when completing repetitive or high-volume tasks
- Is organised and able to manage competing priorities
- Is comfortable identifying and querying discrepancies
- Communicates clearly and works well as part of a team
- Is reliable, conscientious and willing to learn
Experience working with technical, laboratory or results-based information would be useful, but it is not essential.
