We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Vehicle Technician/MOT Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be proficient in the use of both power and hand tools. This position requires a commitment to high standards of workmanship and attention to detail.

Duties

  • Carrying out services, diagnosis and repair of vehicles to excellent standards.
  • Communicating with the Service team.
  • Speaking with customers on occasion to provide your expert, technical opinion.
  • Maintaining exceptionally high customer service levels that lead to customer loyalty and referrals.
  • Work range required – Servicing, brakes, steering suspension components and tyres.
  • Type of Repair Work preferred – Clutch, Cambelt & Turbo replacements.

Experience

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose issues effectively.
  • Proficiency in using various power tools and hand tools safely and efficiently.
  • A valid MOT testing licence is desirable for this position / can provide training to work towards MOT licence.
  • Applicants must be able to demonstrate previous experience in a similar position and hold a current full driving licence.
  • Inhouse training provided where necessary.

Salary dependent on experience within the trade.
