Winnersh Care Home: Abbeyfield Winnersh is a dementia-friendly residential care home situated in the village of Winnersh, Wokingham.
Location: Winnersh Care Home, Woodward Cl, Winnersh, Wokingham RG41 5NW
Hours: 36 hours available a week and alternative weekends.
Shift Pattern: 8pm – 8am. 3 x Night Shifts
Pay: £12.96p/h - £13.31 p/h
Responsibilities
- As one of our highly valued Care Assistants, you will be at the front line of care delivery.
- You will help residents with their individual care needs, such as personal care, medical care and following social interests.
- You will build a special bond with each resident, and give professional and emotional support during difficult times, such as periods of illness.
- Your days as a Care Assistant will be varied, interesting and rewarding. You will assist residents with washing, dressing, eating, drinking and getting around.
- Importantly, you will help make them feel at home. You will be respectful of residents' choices; their dignity and independence.
- You will also be integral to developing residents' Care Plans, which includes being aware of any specialist support needs.
