Support & Training Hit the ground running with confidence! We provide a comprehensive induction program tailored to your specific volunteer role. It includes all the training and support you need to feel comfortable and empowered to make a difference from day one.
Interview Process After you apply, we will invite you for an informal interview to get to know each other better. It’s a chance for you to learn about the role and for us to see if you would be a great fit for the team.
Background Checks Our volunteering roles require two references and an Enhanced DBS check. Eligibility to work in the UK is also required. The cost of the DBS check will be met by Abbeyfield. You may be asked to provide details regarding convictions; failure to disclose convictions may result in an offer of employment being revoked.
