We provide a comprehensive induction program tailored to your specific volunteer role, including all the training and support you need to feel comfortable and empowered to make a difference from day one.
Interview process
After you apply, we\’ll invite you for an informal interview to get to know each other better. It\’s a chance for you to learn about the role and for us to see if you\’d be a great fit for the team.
References and DBS check
Our volunteering roles require two references and a DBS check. Eligibility to work in the UK, two satisfactory employment references and an Enhanced DBS check are required; the cost will be met by Abbeyfield.
