- Hours: Shift times are 8 am–8 pm. Full or part-time hours available, both including alternate weekend shifts.
The Role
As a valued Care Assistant, you’ll be at the front line of care delivery. You’ll help residents with their individual care needs—personal care, medical care, and social interests—building a special bond and providing professional and emotional support during difficult times.
Typical Responsibilities
- Assist residents with washing, dressing, and getting ready for the day.
- Help residents during meal times, promoting choice.
- Support residents in getting around and maintain independence.
- Respect residents’ choices, dignity and independence at all times.
- Contribute to developing residents’ care plans and be aware of any specialist support needs.
