You will have a proven track record of leading high-quality SEND provision, a strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice, and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, families and external agencies to secure the very best outcomes for young people. An excellent communicator and relationship builder, you will be committed to promoting inclusion, raising aspirations and removing barriers to learning. Above all, you will share our high expectations for every student and have the drive, resilience and determination to make a lasting difference to the lives of our learners.




  • Qualified Professional: Qualified Teacher Status and a relevant degree.

  • Proven Impact: Successful recent teaching experience with a strong track record of securing excellent outcomes for students with SEND.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Experience analysing national, local and school-level data to inform strategy and improve outcomes for students with SEND.

  • Coaching & Development: Experience supporting, challenging and developing teachers and support staff to strengthen inclusive practice and pedagogy.

  • Student Wellbeing & Support: Knowledge of effective behaviour management strategies and SEMH support to help students thrive both academically and personally.
