Lee House is an attractive residential care home located in Wimbledon offering care and support to residents over the age of 65. The home has been carefully designed to offer comfortable accommodation which includes single occupancy bedrooms each with en-suite facilities, a pleasant lounge, dining room and garden. Facilities are also available for family or friends to stay overnight. Residents may personalise their room with small items of furniture and ornaments to promote familiarity.
This role is for a contract of 30 hours a week. This will include alternate weekend shifts. Shift times: 8pm-8am. As one of our highly valued Night Care Assistants, you will be at the front line of care delivery. You will help residents with their individual care needs, such as personal care, medical care and following social interests. You will build a special bond with each resident, and give professional and emotional support during difficult times, such as periods of illness. Your shifts as a Night Care Assistant will be varied, interesting and rewarding. You will assist residents with washing, dressing, eating, drinking and getting around. Importantly, you will help make them feel at home. You will be respectful of residents' choices; their dignity and independence. You will also be integral to developing residents' care plans, which includes being aware of any specialist support needs.
