4 shifts over 7 days 8am to 6pm (will include some weekend work)
Key Duties:
- Oversee the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring a high-quality catering service.
- Maintain excellent standards of food quality, hygiene, health and safety, and presentation.
- Plan, develop and cost menus, ensuring meals are nutritious, balanced and meet residents' needs.
- Manage food ordering, stock levels and catering budgets, minimising waste and controlling costs.
- Lead, supervise and support kitchen staff, including rotas, training, supervisions and staff development.
- Ensure the kitchen, food storage areas and equipment are clean, safe and well maintained.
- Work closely with residents and management, responding professionally to feedback, complaints and compliments.
- Kind, respectful and dependable
- Good spoken and written English
- Able to work the required hours
- Right to work in the UK and able to commute reliably
