Role: Relief Staff (Resident Support - Cook and Housekeeping and GA roles available)

Location: Nine Oaks, Windermere, LA23 1BB

Contract: Bank (Zero Hours)

Pay Rate: £12.71 - 13.62

We’re seeking Bank staff to complement our existing Sheltered Housing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a flexible, rewarding role where they can make a real difference in the lives of older people.

About the Role

As relief staff, you will take on a dual role, combining cooking and resident support responsibilities. You will directly impact the wellbeing of our residents by providing the support and care they need in a safe, nurturing environment.

  • Meal Preparation & Cooking: Prepare and serve home-cooked meals for residents, while maintaining food stock and ensuring proper rotation.
  • Resident Support: Be the first point of contact for residents, offering a friendly face and support with their daily needs.
  • Housekeeping: Ensure communal areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained, creating a comfortable environment for all.

Training & Eligibility

To carry out this role, you will be provided with mandatory training as part of a comprehensive induction. To work for us in future assignments, you will be expected to keep your mandatory training up to date.
