Role: Cook and Resident Support
Location: Esk Moors Lodge, Whitby
Hourly Rate: £13.21
Contract: Permanent
Rota: 12 hrs per week Mon, Sat, Sun week 1; Mon, Wed, Thurs 10am‑2pm
Qualifications
- Confidence in cooking for up to 9 people
- Strong organisational skills, ready to handle a variety of tasks
- Excellent customer service skills with a genuine understanding of the needs of older people
- Basic computer skills (Outlook and Excel experience is a plus, but full training will be provided)
Responsibilities
- Prepare wholesome, home‑cooked meals for residents
- Assist with general wellbeing, handle any issues that arise and elevate them when needed
- Support budget management and basic computer tasks (training provided)
