We are now looking for a Wellbeing Assistant to join our team at Horsted Keynes.

Location: Birch Grove Road, Horsted Keynes, West Sussex, RH17 7BS

Hours: 19 hours per week. 9am to 6pm includes every 3rd weekend

Pay Rate: £13.61 p/h to £14.03 p/h

The Role of Wellbeing Assistant

With the welfare of our residents at heart, your job will be to ensure that our residents, staff and assets are kept safe, by being vigilant and conducting regular site checks and maintaining security. You will be the first point of contact in the event of an emergency and to respond immediately and appropriately to the Warden Alarm calls. Your role may also include providing domestic portage, scheduled cleaning and laundry, waste management, and responding to emergency repairs.

About You

You'll be customer focused and passionate about improving the lives of older people. Friendly, sociable and reliable, you'll have excellent communication skills and be able to read and write to a good standard. Self-motivated, you'll be assertive and able to work independently. But you'll also know that you are just part of a bigger team and are happy to help out when you see an opportunity. You should also be able to demonstrate good organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and stay calm under pressure. IT skills are also key to all our front line roles, as you'll be using computers. You should also be able to understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality.
