Role Details
- Title: General Assistant – Care Kitchen
- Location: Woodlands Care Home, Woodlands Dr, Skipton BD23 1QU
- Hours: 10 hours a week
- Shift Times: 11am – 4pm (Week 1: Thursday & Friday; Week 2: Saturday & Sunday)
- Pay: ÂŁ12.21 per hour
Responsibilities
- Help keep the home clean and tidy for residents and visitors.
- Support kitchen staff in preparing and presenting meals to the highest standard.
- Assist in cleaning residents’ bedrooms, self‑contained flats, communal areas and offices.
- Provide healthy and nutritious food for residents while maintaining rigorous hygiene practices.
Qualifications
- High standards, neat and tidy work ethic.
- Natural calling to care – willingness to learn and grow.
- Experience in care or willingness to receive training is welcome.
