The Home: Downing House is a Good CQC rated residential care home offering dementia care in Withington, Manchester, providing high quality care for up to 25 people.

Shift Times: 8am - 8pm

Hours: 36 Hours Available across weekdays and alternative weekends

Pay: £14.34p/h - £14.80p/h or £26,844.48 - £27,705.60 per annum

The Role of Care Team Leader:

Our Care Team Leaders sit at the heart of what we do. As the recognised Senior Carer on a shift, you will have overall responsibility for regular monitoring of the health, care and social needs of our residents. This includes the preparation, implementation and review of their personal care plans, as well as administering medication. You will supervise, support, coach and develop other team members, and liaise with people involved in residents' care, as well as with the residents themselves. You will ensure residents' needs and wishes are at the centre of the care we provide. In the event of an emergency, you will take the lead when staff or residents need help.

About You:

You must be an experienced Carer, ideally with a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent, or be committed to working towards this. As a Care Team Leader, you must be able to demonstrate good organisation and staff management skills. You should already be skilled in writing and updating Care Plans, and competent in the administration of Medication. Most of all, you should be passionate and committed to providing exceptional care to our residents, their families and friends.
