Overview
Abbeyfield The Dales has one mission: Making Time for Older People. We are a care setting for the elderly with sites across West & North Yorkshire and practice these values in our work: Honesty, Caring, Respect, Openness.

All roles are subject to a 3-month probationary period, DBS clearance and satisfactory references.
Responsibilities
Working in Maintenance is fast paced and rewarding. The shift pattern for this role is Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm and includes being on-call 24/7 on a rota basis (usually 1 week in 4). You must have your own transport to be able to work at all our sites. We are looking for someone with excellent DIY/Handyperson skills who can problem solve issues and complete repairs and maintenance quickly and efficiently. The ideal candidate needs to be computer literate and willing to download our maintenance app onto their phone. Previous experience in a similar role is essential. Candidates with plumbing, joinery, basic electrical experience would be an advantage.
A good command of spoken and written English is essential for this role.
