Overview
Abbeyfield The Dales is a not-for-profit care charity with one mission: Making Time for Older People. We provide a supportive, family-feel working environment guided by our values of Honesty, Caring, Respect and Openness. We are looking for a caring and reliable Care Assistant to join our team.
Hours: 3 shifts over 7 days 8am to 8pm (alternate weekends).
Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred personal care and support with daily living activities
- Promote residents’ dignity, independence and wellbeing
- Monitor health needs and report concerns to senior staff
- Assist with mobility, continence care, meals and use of equipment
- Support residents to engage in social activities and events
- Contribute to care planning and act as a Key Worker as required
