Abbeyfield The Dales is a not-for-profit care charity with one mission: Making Time for Older People. We provide a supportive, family‑feel working environment guided by our values of Honesty, Caring, Respect and Openness. We are looking for a caring and reliable Care Assistant to join our team.

Hours: 3 shifts over 7 days, 7:00 pm to 7:30 am (alternate weekends)

Key Duties:

  • Provide person‑centred personal care and support with daily living activities
  • Promote residents’ dignity, independence and wellbeing
  • Monitor health needs and report concerns to senior staff
  • Assist with mobility, continence care, meals and use of equipment
  • Support residents to engage in social activities and events
  • Contribute to care planning and act as a Key Worker as required
