Abbeyfield The Dales is a not-for-profit care charity with one mission: Making Time for Older People. We provide a supportive, family-feel working environment guided by our values of Honesty, Caring, Respect and Openness. We are looking for a caring and reliable Activity Coordinator to join our team. This role would suit someone who brings maturity, empathy, and a caring approach to supporting others.
Working pattern - 4 days per week 10am to 4.30pm
Key Duties- Plan and deliver a varied activities programme to enhance residents’ wellbeing.
- Build relationships with residents and families to provide person-centred activities.
- Assess individual needs and encourage participation from residents, staff, and families.
- Develop and communicate a weekly activities schedule, including evening events.
- Ensure residents’ social, emotional, and spiritual needs are met.
- Support the organisation of trips, events, and external activities.
- Kind, respectful and dependable
