Abbeyfield Hoylake & West Kirby Society is looking for a compassionate and experienced Senior Night Care Assistant to join our dedicated team at Lear House in West Kirby. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a highly respected care home, providing high-quality, person-centred, non-nursing care to 24 older residents. If you're passionate about making a difference and enjoy leading by example, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and support the night care team to deliver exceptional care.
- Provide person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing.
- Support residents with their personal care needs where required.
- Administer and record care in line with care plans and company policies.
- Respond calmly and effectively to residents' needs throughout the night.
- Maintain accurate care records and handovers.
- Ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for residents.
- Support, mentor, and guide other care team members during your shift.
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (Essential).
- Previous experience working in a Senior Care Assistant role.
- A caring, compassionate, and professional approach.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- The ability to work independently and make confident decisions during night shifts.
What We Offer
- Competitive pay of £14.47 per hour.
- Enhanced weekend rate of £19.29 per hour.
- Enhanced overtime and Bank Holiday rates (discussed at interview).
- Annual salary reviews every April.
