The Home: Abbeyfield House Bramhall is a welcoming 16 bed residential care home, located just a mile from Bramhall village centre in Stockport, close to shops, a post office, and local community facilities.
Location: Abbeyfield House, 120 Moss Ln, Bramhall, Stockport SK7 1EE
Hours: 27 Hours. Week 1: Wednesday - 2pm-8pm, Thursday - 2pm-8pm, Friday - 8am-2pm. Week 2: Wednesday - 8am-2pm, Thursday - 8am-2pm, Saturday - 8am-8pm, Sunday - 8am-8pm
Pay: £12.96p/h - £13.31p/h
The Role of Care Assistant:
- As one of our highly valued Care Assistants, you will be at the front line of care delivery.
- You will help residents with their individual care needs, such as personal care, medical care and following social interests.
- You will build a special bond with each resident, and give professional and emotional support during difficult times, such as periods of illness.
- You will assist residents with washing, dressing, eating, drinking and getting around.
- You will help make them feel at home, being respectful of residents’ choices; their dignity and independence.
- You will also be integral to developing residents' Care Plans, which includes being aware of any specialist support needs.
