Located in the beautiful town of Weymouth, Macpherson House is managed by the Abbeyfield Wessex Society and offers retirement living that gives peace of mind, security and companionship to its residents. Macpherson House has 10 en-suite rooms designed for comfort and independence. We are now looking for two House Assistants to join our team.
Job Description: To assist residents to live as independently as possible at our Macpherson House in Weymouth.
Key Duties:
- Helping the residents whilst in the communal areas
- Assisting with household chores
- Helping with social activities
- Accompanying residents to medical appointments or shopping
There are two House Assistant positions available. 4 days a week (16 hours), working a 2 week rota. £12.90 per hour. Alternate weekend working is included in the role.
