Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and home care settings. The successful candidate will assist with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure the well-being of those in their care. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Support individuals with mobility and daily activities to promote independence
- Follow personalised care plans to meet each client\βs specific needs
- Encourage social interaction and engagement to enhance mental well-being
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in condition
- Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
- Support clients with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals
Skills
- Experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous
- Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation
- Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others
- Organised, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: Β£12.60-Β£12.70 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
