Care Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Assistant to provide high-quality support to individuals in care homes and home care settings. The successful candidate will assist with daily activities, promote independence, and ensure the well-being of those in their care. Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Support individuals with mobility and daily activities to promote independence
• Follow personalised care plans to meet each client\’s specific needs
• Encourage social interaction and engagement to enhance mental well-being
• Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in condition
• Communicate effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
• Support clients with medication management as directed by healthcare professionals

Skills

• Experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous
• Ability to follow detailed care plans accurately
• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
• Basic IT skills for maintaining records and documentation
• Excellent communication skills to build rapport with clients and team members
• Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to support others
• Organised, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.60-£12.70 per hour

Expected hours: 24 per week
