The predicted salary is between 24000 - 30000 £ per year.

We are looking for self-motivated and confident individuals to join our existing team of Warehouseman, working a 12 hour dayshift rota pattern of 4 on and 4 off.

Duties include:

  • Prepares and completes orders for delivery according to the required customer schedules. This includes the transferring of product, loading, wrapping, ensuring label adherence and final inventory checks.
  • Receiving and processing warehouse products from suppliers. This includes unloading vehicles, wrapping, safe transit of product, correct storage, invoice completion and label adherence.
  • Checking for damaged or missing items and then sorting and sourcing stock for storage in the warehouse.
  • Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
  • Completes and maintains diary logs, reports and inventory controls by entering and maintaining required information.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping pallet area, refrigeration chambers and workstations neat.
  • Maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with company training, procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Report any order discrepancies on both Goods-In or Dispatch.
  • Communicate and cooperate with the Management Team and co-colleagues alike.
  • Operates and maintains warehouse vehicles and equipment including Fork Lift Trucks (counterbalance) and Powered Pedestrian Pump Trucks.
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations in line with HACCP.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Personal requirements:

  • Proven working experience as a warehouse worker.
  • Proficiency in literacy and mathematics.
  • Good organisational, inventory control and time management skills.
  • Current forklift licence advantageous.
  • Dependable and reliable.
