Introduction: We are a small team of engineers looking to find a proactive individual to take on the responsibilities of our business. Join us and you will have exposure to a vast array of technology and can help transform organisations by showing them how IT can deliver for them. We are constantly seeking new technologies to achieve higher performance in our clients’ business operations. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will provide day-to-day support of all our clients' cloud systems and security. You will work closely with the Support colleagues ensuring that service quality is delivered and that continuous service improvement is a key focus.

Responsibilities:

  • Operations: Create scripts to improve cloud deployment and reporting mainly in SharePoint. Be a dedicated support point for detailed firewall questions. Ensure good working knowledge of cloud infrastructure and monitoring tools across the team. Work effectively with external suppliers who are used to deliver elements of our service.
  • Customer Service: Build trust-based relationships with key customers and customer groups when providing support needs. Ensure that two-way feedback is developed relating to our products and services, current customer priorities, challenges, and requirements. Ensure that a strong customer service ethos is provided. Update Security and Network information to accurately account for changes in infrastructure. Test and rollout updates to firewalls and routers. Coordinate the team of Senior engineers to ensure they have the equipment needed to carry out jobs. Manage tasks associated with running a busy MSP. Keep up to date with new product rollouts and pricing changes and ensure we capture the changes in our client billing.

Skills & Experience:

  • Working knowledge of a leading firewall vendor (FortiGate ideal).
  • Working knowledge and hardware troubleshooting experience of Windows environments.
  • O365 conditional access and SharePoint setup.
  • Knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and deliver technical tasks on time.
  • Demonstrate coordination skills while working with multiple people to deliver a solution.

Academic Qualifications:

  • A-Level, HND level of qualification to ensure high-level verbal and written communication.
  • Quality experience on a support helpdesk with a variety of technologies (MSP ideal).
  • Certifications or demonstration of initiative to broaden technical knowledge.

Standard work hours of 40 hours a week between core hours of 09:00 to 17:30, with a 4-week rotation to cover 8:00 start and Saturday emergency cover for key clients. Office based. A level of travel and working from other customer or client locations may be required from time to time.
