We are currently seeking a Mobile Response Security Officer who can handle this demanding, sometimes challenging role with composure and professionalism. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent work ethics, effective communication skills, and a strong commitment to customer service. This role involves a combination of lock/unlock procedures, regular patrols, and prompt response to alarm call outs, which are supported by an experienced team. The majority of shifts are 12-hour night shifts, with some weekend day shifts as well.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform lock and unlock procedures for various premises.
  • Conduct regular patrols to ensure the security of assigned areas.
  • Respond promptly to alarm call outs and take appropriate actions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and visitors.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing work demands.
  • Maintain a high level of literacy and numeracy in daily operations.
Requirements:
  • Full UK Manual Driving License.
  • Current SIA License.
  • 1 year of experience in the security field (preferred).

Ability to commute/relocate: Bury St. Edmund's, Suffolk: Reliable commuting or planning to relocate before starting work (required). Due to driving duties, it would be beneficial to reside within 25 miles of Abbey security's head office. (Shifts commence from head office daily)
