Key Responsibilities

  • Work with pupils both individually and in small groups supporting them to overcome barriers to learning, delivering teaching, providing positive behaviour support, and delivering other focused interventions.
  • Work as part of a class team, under the direction of the class teacher and trans-disciplinary colleagues, to deliver effective and appropriate teaching, learning and behaviour support in all areas of school life.
  • Monitor and track progress, providing regular feedback as needed.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Relevant SEN experience as detailed in the person specification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
