Abbey Road Primary School is seeking to appoint a caring, committed and enthusiastic Personal Care Assistant to join our hardworking and dedicated staff team. This is a permanent role commencing in September 2026.

- Pay Grade: Support Staff Grade 1 (£24,796 FTE / £19,048 actual)
About the Role
The successful candidate will work alongside class teachers, teaching assistants and the school SENDCo to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a child in Year 3. The role will involve supporting the child's personal care needs as well as helping them develop the skills, confidence and independence needed to thrive within an inclusive and supportive learning environment. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a committed and skilled team that is passionate about providing a caring, engaging and successful learning experience for all children.

- Has a good standard of written and spoken English.
- Experience of manual handling is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
