Abbey Primary School is delighted to be opening a brand-new nursery provision for children aged 2-3 years in September 2026. This exciting development will provide a high-quality early years environment for our local community and support children in getting the very best start in life.
We are now seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Senior Nursery Practitioner to work closely with our Early Years Phase Lead and nursery team in managing our new nursery. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new provision from the very beginning and help shape a nurturing, stimulating environment for our youngest learners.
The nursery will operate Monday to Friday, from 7:15am to 6:15pm, 49 weeks per year (closed over Christmas and one week in August). The Senior Nursery Practitioner will work from 8.00am - 3.15pm; alternative working patterns may be considered for the right candidate.

- Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent).
