My client, established in 2006, specialises in the manufacturing and installation of curtain walling, windows, doors, shopfronts, and entrances. We are based in Sherburn in Elmet near Leeds, with excellent access to major road networks, and we take pride in producing high-quality, bespoke aluminium products for our clients.
The Role
We are looking for Manufacturing Operatives to join our production team on a full-time, on-site basis in Sherburn in Elmet. You will be involved in the fabrication of aluminium windows, doors and curtain walling systems, helping to ensure our products are made to a high standard and ready for installation.
What You'll Do:
- Fabricate and assemble aluminium windows, doors and related façade components from technical drawings and specifications
- Measure, cut and prepare aluminium profiles, including operating saws and other fabrication machinery safely and accurately
- Use hand and power tools for drilling, fixing, beading, gasketing and general assembly work
- Carry out visual and dimensional quality checks to ensure products meet company and customer standards
- Maintain a clean and safe working area and follow all health & safety procedures
What We're Looking For:
- Experience as an aluminium fabricator or in a similar fabrication/manufacturing role (windows, doors, curtain walling, or metalwork)
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings and cutting lists
- Confident using saws and other workshop machinery, with a strong focus on safe operation
- Good practical skills, attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively as part of a small team.
If you have experience in this sector or have transferable skills this would be ideal.
