Abbey Mechanical Services Ltd is an independent Forklift Truck Company who sell, hire and service & maintain all makes and models of forklift trucks in and around the West Midlands area. Abbey Mechanical has been under new ownership and management since 2016 and as the business continues to expand we are looking to employ an additional Workshop engineer to join our Aldridge based team on a full time basis. Ideally we are looking for candidates who are keen to expand and develop their career with a growing independent forklift truck company whose focus is on delivering high levels of service to our customer base.

£37,000 - £39,000 per annum (depending on experience) based on 40 hour working week.

The Role:

  • Workshop repairs on both customer owned and Abbey Mechanical's fleet
  • Mechanical preparation of both Sale and Hire Trucks
  • Cosmetic preparation of both Sale and Hire Trucks
  • Workwear provided
  • 8am - 4.30pm Monday to Friday
  • 5 days Annual Holiday + Bank Holidays

The Candidate:

  • Previous forklift truck experience preferable
  • Mechanical, hydraulic and electric experience essential
