Role Overview
As a Transport Planner for powder tanks, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the daily movement of our fleet.
Your role will ensure timely delivery of goods, efficient use of resources, and compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and schedule daily routes to meet customer requirements.
- Monitor and manage fleet movements to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Liaise with drivers, depot staff, and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and company regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of transport operations and reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve transport efficiency and service quality.
Requirements
- Previous experience in transport planning, with heavy goods vehicles (HGV).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in transport planning software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
