Abbey Logistics – A UK and European, Industry Leading, food and non-food tanker Distribution Business are seeking to recruit the following:

HGV 1 TANKER DRIVER – POWDER TIPPER TANKS

  • Monday – Friday Nights
  • Friday – Tuesday Nights
  • 4 on 4 off Nights
  • Full time permanent
  • Based at our Bury St Edmunds depot
  • Full training provided

The role of an Abbey Logistics Class 1 Tanker Driver is to safely and efficiently deliver customer products using bulk powder tankers throughout the UK and into Europe if required.

Duties will include:

  • Collection & Delivery of powder product in tipper tankers to and from customer locations
  • Keeping your vehicle in clean condition
  • Using your digital hand-held device to record all circle checks and deliveries
  • Following company procedures in accordance with strict industry guidelines

Experience

  • Hold a full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence (no more than 6 penalty points)
  • Tanker work preferred but not essential as training will be given
  • Must hold a valid and up to date DCPC Card

Uniform/PPE

Full DCPC in house training during your employment (online or face to face)
