Abbey Logistics – A UK and European, Industry Leading, food and non-food tanker Distribution Business are seeking to recruit the following; HGV 1 Tanker Driver – Bromborough 4 on 4 off Nights Curtain Side Trailers Full time permanent 4 on 4 off Nights Based at our Bromborough depot Curtain Side Trailers Rate of pay: £17.52ph Weekly pay
The role of an Abbey Logistics Class 1 Driver is to safely and efficiently deliver customer products using curtain side trailers throughout the UK and into Europe if required.
Duties will include:
- Keeping your vehicle in clean condition
- Working at heights
- Using your digital hand-held device to record all circle checks and deliveries
- Following company procedures in accordance with strict industry guidelines
- Connecting and disconnecting hoses for loading and unloading
- Climbing onto tanks to check hatches and seals
- Manual handling of equipment such as couplings, valves, and hoses
Experience:
- Hold a full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence (no more than 6 penalty points)
- Must hold a valid and up to date DCPC Card
- Can safely operate within a fall arrest system of up to 140kgs
