The role of an Abbey Logistics Class 1 Tanker Driver is to safely and efficiently deliver customer products using bulk liquid tankers throughout the UK and into Europe if required.
Duties will include:
- Loading & delivery of powder tankers to and from UK and European (if required) customer locations.
- Working at heights.
- Complying with all drivers’ hours and working time regulations.
- Using a digital hand-held device to record all vehicle checks and delivery information.
- Following customer and company guidelines and processes.
Experience:
- Hold a full LGV C+E (Class 1) licence for a minimum of 2 years (no more than 6 penalty points).
- Tanker work preferred but not essential as training will be given.
- Must hold a valid and up to date DCPC Card.
- Can safely operate within a fall arrest system of up to 140kgs.
Guaranteed hours. Uniform/PPE. 20 days inclusive of banks paid holiday based on 4 on 4 off. Structured two-week training program. Full DCPC in house training during your employment (online or face to face). Online access to self-service, payslips and holiday booking. Life Assurance.
