We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring and committed Teacher of Economics to join our thriving Business and Economics department, from April 2026 on a fixed-term contract (0.5 FTE, equivalent to 12 lessons per week) until 31/08/2026. The successful candidate should be a highly effective practitioner with a passion for Economics, excellent subject knowledge, and a proven track record of driving outstanding student outcomes. The post holder will teach Economics across all Senior School year groups, up to and including A Level, delivering inspiring, differentiated lessons that accelerate student progress.
The Business & Economics Department includes the Head of Business & Economics and this part-time experienced Economics specialist post. The department is dynamic and resourceful and works to enthuse students, as well as encourage them to become independent learners.

- Ability to adapt and differentiate their lessons and teaching to suit the needs of the students; maximising their progress
- Proficient with the use of ICT in the classroom
- Confident in using new technologies to share and promote good practice
- Ability to liaise closely with middle and senior management, including heads of year and form tutors, regarding attainment, behaviour and attendance.
