Role Description
The ANSUL Engineer role is a full-time, UK wide position. The ANSUL Engineer will install, commission, inspect, service, and maintain ANSUL fire suppression systems in line with manufacturer guidelines, industry standards, and company procedures. Daily tasks include conducting site surveys, troubleshooting system faults, performing routine maintenance/installations and testing, completing accurate service reports, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and safety requirements. The role involves working closely with customers to explain system functions, advise on remedial actions or upgrades, and provide a professional and courteous service at all times. The ANSUL Engineer will also collaborate with colleagues, maintain tools and equipment, follow health and safety protocols, and support continuous improvement of processes and service quality.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess fire suppression system expertise, including experience with ANSUL systems, system installation, servicing, commissioning, and fault diagnosis.
- Candidates should possess strong technical and mechanical skills, including working with tools and equipment, reading technical drawings or schematics, and following manufacturer specifications.
- Candidates should possess good communication and customer service skills, including the ability to explain technical information clearly, build positive client relationships, and represent the company professionally on site.
- Candidates should possess solid organisational skills, including accurate recordkeeping, time management, planning routes and site visits, and working independently with minimal supervision.
- Relevant certifications or accreditations in fire protection or engineering, such as industry-standard ANSUL training or equivalent fire safety qualifications, would be beneficial.
- A valid UK driving licence, willingness to travel to customer sites, and adherence to health and safety regulations are required.
- Experience in the wider fire safety industry, knowledge of applicable British Standards and regulations, and a commitment to continuous professional development are an advantage.
